Celebrating the Season and the new $6 million Nutcracker production,
the NACCTX Cultural Events Committee is pleased to announce
"THE BUSINESS OF BALLET"
An exclusive look behind the scenes at the Houston Ballet and its Academy
After welcoming words by John Kendall, a longtime Houston Ballet Guild
Board member, NACCTX members will have the opportunity to tour the
facility, observe a practice session of the Company and/or Ballet
Academy, followed by a short video presentation and talk on all aspects
of ballet business in the Boardroom, led by distinguished Houston
Ballet Executive Director Jim Nelson who has spent his career in the
dance world moving from professional dancer to administrative leader.
The event is free.
Lunch reservations at your own expense can be arranged at Treebeards
on Market Square, just a short walk from the Houston Ballet.
